ThreeBond 1743F Instant adhesive including an application brush |

ThreeBond 1743F is an α-cyanoacrylate-based, strong instant adhesive. In a few seconds or a few minutes, the cyanoacrylate monomer reacts chemically with the small amount of moisture on the surface being bonded. Thus the two adherends become a solid cured body, combined organically. The procedure is to apply the adhesive thinly on one adherend and press the adherends gently with the fingertips. The bond forms instantly. |

|
ThreeBond 1743F is a brand-new type of instant adhesive developed in the United States (patent pending). Unlike conventional instant adhesives that drip down from the nozzle of the bottle, this adhesive is easily applied by use of an application brush. Thus the amount applied can be controlled very closely, so that the finish-up is very neat. This adhesive has low viscosity, and its curing speed and adhesive strength are well balanced. |

Curing performance

Adhesion performance was measured by observing peeling- and shearing-adhesive strength, and set time was measured by observing curing speed. The performance observed was compared with that of two other products: Company A's, a low-viscosity type in a 20g tube; and Company B's, a mid-viscosity type in a 3g plastic container.
