ThreeBond 2087L Hight Strength two-part epoxy-compound resin |

ThreeBond2087L is high strength 2-cmponent structural epoxy adhesive that contains dispersed vulcanized rubber. Base resin and hardener of ThreeBond2087L are colored to confirm mixture condition easily. |

| · |
Excellent tensile strength |
| · |
Low out-gas |
| · |
Coloring to both base resin and hardener made the confirmation of mixture condition easier. |
|

| · |
Adhesion and sealing for HDD assembly |
| · |
For high strength application |

Usage

| 1) |
Surface treatment
Remove moisture, oil, rust and other contaminations from the surface to be bonded.
Remove rust with sandpaper, and remove oil with thinner or the like. |
| 2) |
Measurement mixture
Stir uniformly following compounding ratio before use. Keep the error of measuring at 50 ± 5 of the hardener for 100 of the base resin. |
| 3) |
Curing
Examine the curing conditions with actual work, and cure the resin under appropriate curing conditions. The optimum curing conditions vary depending on the heat capacity of the work. |
Instructions for use

| 1) |
Before using it, sufficiently confirm whether the method of application and the purpose of use are appropriate. |
| 2) |
If the main agent and curing agent are not mixed completely, the resin cannot cure sufficiently and may cause bonding failure. |
| 3) |
Some materials may be deteriorated by the use of the product. Ascertain in advance whether it does not affect the parts to be bonded with it. If any problem occurs, do not use it. |
| 4) |
After using it, store it with the cap tightly fitted to prevent deterioration or entry of foreign matter. |
| 5) |
The resin may discolor due to its nature. |
| 6) |
When the main agent and curing agent are mixed, the mixture generates heat. Take care not to burn your hands. |
| 7) |
Use and store the product out of reach of children. |
| 8) |
It is harmful to the health. Do not touch it directly or inhale its vapor. |
| 9) |
Use the resin in the open air or in a place equipped with a local exhaust system wearing appropriate protective means, such as a mask, gloves (not permeable) and goggles. |
| 10) |
If it enters the eyes, wash the eyes with fresh water for 15 minutes or more, and get medical attention. |
| 11) |
If it adheres to the skin, wipe it away with cloth, and wash the skin with soap. |
| 12) |
If any abnormality is found in the body, quit handling it, and get medical attention. |
| 13) |
Persons who have allergies or sensitive skin should avoid using it. |
| 14) |
As for hazard and toxicity information not mentioned in this document, see the MSDS (material safety data sheet). |
