ThreeBond 1372D Anaerobic sealant

Overview

ThreeBond 1372D is an anaerobic sealant with a high glass transition temperature. Thus its use prevents the misalignment of shafts that the heat of a high-speed motor can cause. It does not cure in air. Rather, when it penetrates into narrow gaps in metallic parts, it quickly reacts and cures by polymerization; thus it bonds or seals the parts of the joint. Any adhesive that overflows can be cured by ultraviolet irradiation.

Features

· Is a high-strength anaerobic sealant for joints.
· Has a higher glass transition temperature than conventional sealants.
· Has low viscosity and excellent penetrativeness.

Uses

Bonding and sealing of metallic part joints
