2500 Series (Contact-point rejuvenators) |
The products in the ThreeBond 2500 series are contact-point rejuvenators. The main ingredient is a chemically stable special synthetic oligomer. They prevent electric and electronic contacts, which are the core of electric and electronic devices, from sulfurating and oxidizing. They prevent the increase in contact resistance that cyclic stroke movements cause. They stabilize the resistance of contacts, improve their reliability, and prolong their life. They also have numerous advanced properties that are very effective in reducing cost. For example, they make it possible to use low-price materials for contacts, and to construct contacts with thinner plating. |

| When measuring plastic resistance, do not use ABS, styrol, polycarbonate, or acryl; they have adverse effects on plastic. Use other plastics only after testing to make sure they are suitable. |
