Jiyai Shin, a Three Bond-sponsored professional, competed in the “Japan Women’s Open Golf Championship,” the third official tournament of the 2026 JLPGA Tour season, held from October 1st to October 4th.

Starting the final round in second place, Jiyai Shin displayed tenacious play to tie for the lead on the final hole and emerged victorious in a hard-fought playoff, securing a spectacular come-from-behind victory.

With this victory, Jiyai Shin achieved her 30th career win on the JLPGA Tour. Furthermore, she became only the seventh player in history to earn a permanent seed and accomplished the unprecedented feat of winning four official tournaments.
